Isn’t it lovely when everyone agrees? In Aggregate Settlements, two or more parties represented by the same attorney come to resolution on claims, defenses or pleas. And though it’s unlikely that getting to that point was simple, coming to resolution should mark the end of the complications. But Aggregate Settlements carry with them their own set of issues and guidelines. This CLE course will review them all, the applicable Rules of Professional Conduct, what constitutes consent and the advantages to both defendants and plaintiffs of appointing a neutral third party to allocate settlements.
