Keven Danow, Esq.
Keven Danow was awarded the degree of Juris Doctor, with honors, from Fordham University
School of Law and has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, with honors, from Adelphi
University. In addition to being licensed to practice law in the State of New York, Mr. Danow was
certified as a public accountant by the New York State Education Department.
His experience includes
four years as an agent of the Internal Revenue Service, rising to handle complex cases in the Large Case
Division. This division is responsible for the tax audits of companies whose assets equal or exceed two
hundred fifty million dollars. Mr. Danow's particular areas of concentration include guiding clients through the regulatory complexities involved in the manufacture, importation, distribution and sale of beverage alcohol. Mr. Danow’s clients include suppliers, distributors, and retailers. His responsibilities include assisting clients with the process of applying for basic federal permits, label approval and state licensing procedures.
In addition, Mr. Danow advises clients in connection with federal and state regulatory compliance. Mr.
Danow’s practice areas include commercial litigation in Federal and State Courts and administrative
hearings before the Internal Revenue Service, the New York Tax Appeals Tribunal, the State Liquor
Authority, the State Department of Transportation and various arbitration associations. Additionally, he
is regularly involved in estate planning, drafting wills and trusts, and negotiating and drafting
agreements concerning the formation, purchase, and sale of businesses. Mr. Danow is a Contributing
Editor of Beverage Media and lectures in the area of beverage alcohol law.
Arielle Albert, Esq.
Arielle Albert, Member of the Firm of Danow, McMullan & Panoff, P.C.
Arielle Albert joined Danow McMullan and Panoff, P.C. as an associate attorney in 2013 after
serving as a law clerk with the firm throughout law school. Ms. Albert is licensed to practice law in the
state of New York. In 2018 Danow McMullan & Panoff, P.C. proudly announced that Ms. Albert had
become a member of the firm.
Focusing her practice on alcohol beverage control law, Ms. Albert guides clients through the
regulatory complexities involved in the manufacture, importation, distribution and sale of beverage
alcohol. Ms. Albert's clients include established industry members as well as emerging companies new
to the beverage alcohol industry.
Ms. Albert's responsibilities include counseling clients on regulatory matters and legal compliance
with federal and state laws, conducting comprehensive national surveys for clients operating in more
than one jurisdiction and assisting clients in transactional matters involving beverage alcohol. In
addition, Ms. Albert shepherds clients through the state and federal licensing process, and state and
federal label approval. She advises clients seeking federal and state approval for distilleries, wineries,
breweries and other facilities.
Ms. Albert has developed a local counsel cadre which has allowed her to assist companies with
their due diligence and licensing requirements when purchasing a large number of establishments,
licensed in numerous states.
Ms. Albert is a Contributing Editor to Beverage Media Magazine and co-authors monthly articles
alerting readers to trending issues in alcohol beverage control law. She also lectures on alcoholic
beverage law.
Ms. Albert earned her Juris Doctor degree from the Maurice A. Dean School of Law at Hofstra
University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree, from the University of Vermont. At Hofstra, Ms.
Albert was a Notes and Comments Editor for the Journal of International Business and Law, a Publication of the Hofstra University School of Law and Frank G. Zarb School of Business. Ms. Albert is included in the Annual List of Top Attorneys published by Thomson Reuters in its New York Metro Edition of Super Lawyers
