About This Course
The third in a series, this CLE course provides a review of pre-trial, trial and post-trial for high frequency police liability cases. The course is based on a hypothetical fact pattern and explains how to evaluate your case, prepare for final-pre-trial conference and presentation of witnesses. Jury selection, master examination and cross-examination of liability and damages witnesses will be explained and tips and strategies for memorable openings and closings will be presented. Special jury instructions, verdict forms, issues of immunity, record protection for use in appeal and fee petitions will all be explained in detail. The course follows two others which deal with case selection, representation and initial pleadings, discovery, evidence and motions practice.
