Marvin “Chip” Walden, Jr., Esq.
Marvin R. Walden, Jr. is an attorney, licensed to practice law in the State of New York in 1980 and in the State of New Jersey in 1982.
Marvin has concentrated his practice in Hudson County, New Jersey, since being admitted to the bar.
Marvin has been the managing partner of the Law Firm of Greenberg & Walden, LLC since 1988.
Marvin has had over 200 jury trials over the course of his career; approximately 110 of those cases have been personal injury car accident cases involving what is referred to in the State of New Jersey as the verbal threshold as well as fall down cases, ceiling collapse cases and medical malpractice cases.
In addition, Marvin has tried criminal jury cases involving aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping, and numerous drug cases.
He has tried asylum cases in the Immigration Court.
He has tried cases in the Chancery Part (non-jury) involving partnership and property disputes.
Marvin has handled hundreds of divorce and/or family cases including custody, support, equitable distribution and has tried over three dozen domestic violence cases in the State of New Jersey.
Marvin has tried cases in the landlord-tenant Special Civil Court.
In each of the years from 2011 through 2019, Marvin had a top 20 verdict in the State of New Jersey. In those same years, Marvin also had more than one top 20 settlements in the State of New Jersey.
In 2019, Marvin was honored by the Hudson County Bar Association and named the Hudson County Civil Lawyer of the Year.
Marvin continues to practice law in Hudson County, New Jersey concentrating on all forms of litigation.
