About This Course
There are laws governing almost every industry, even those we rarely view as being legally complicated. Wine, for example, its cultivation, production and even labeling is governed by strict rules that apply to the various countries wherein wine is produced. This CLE course will explain the purpose of these laws and how they are tied to consumer protection laws and a customer’s ability to ascertain the wine’s region of origin, grape varietals and quality. The course will explain the national requirements for the world’s leading wine producing countries and the French and US standards that most major countries adhere to.
