About This Course
Rules governing Special Education in schools have evolved tremendously over the last few years. This CLE course will explore that evolution, including the laws in the court system, the vocabulary and acronyms applied, and the practical considerations when advocating for students with special needs in public schools, administrative proceedings and courts.
The course will also address how children with special needs impact the juvenile court system and conversely, how that system affects these children. The course will conclude with a look at future possibilities for these students.
