Brinsley Dresden, Esq.
With over 18 years experience working in the sector there aren't many issues I haven't seen before!
I started out in-house at British Telecommunications where I was dedicated to providing full time legal support to the Marketing Department. Being co-located with the marketers, rather than in the separate legal department, I was immersed in their work, whether it was helping to formulate the communications for a new pricing package, defending a trading standards investigation, or formulating a competitor complaint.
I've since had the pleasure and privilege of working with some of the world's leading brand owners who operate in a wide range of sectors (alcoholic beverages, cosmetics, automotive, aviation, fashion, insurance, FMCG, utilities, engineering, food and drinks.)
I have also advised advertising, public relations, sales promotion, design, digital and social media agencies and including some of the leading independent agencies in the UK and USA, as well as operating companies from several of the world’s global networks.
These days, the most rewarding parts of my work often involve leading teams from across the firm in helping our clients to achieve their legal and commercial objectives, in everything from dispute resolution, to mergers and acquisitions, to property acquisitions and employment problems.
The legal directories, taking soundings from in-house counsel at brand owner clients and from lawyers at other law firms, report that “Peers take their hats off to worthy leader Brinsley Dresden, who is top-notch and can argue any case in this area, (Chambers) and "Brinsley Dresden is top of his field".
