About This Course
This CLE course will offer an overview of the basic zoning regulations for large US cities.
The regulations to be discussed assign zoning designations for taxation purposes and divide lots which determine:
1) Permitted uses
2) Maximum building size
3) Maximum building height
4) Required open space (i.e. front and back yards)
Typical charts, tables and maps that contain these regulations will be presented and methods for the modification of a tax lot’s zoning regulations for the purpose of altering size and use will be reviewed.
