Criminal Procedure: The 4th, 5th and 6th Amendments
This CLE lecture will explore critical topics including the definitions of search and seizure under the Fourth Amendment, the process of obtaining and executing search warrants, and the various exceptions to the warrant requirement. Additional topics include stop and frisk procedures, the exclusionary rule and its exceptions, Miranda rights under the Fifth Amendment, the voluntariness of statements under the Fourteenth Amendment, and a brief overview of the Sixth Amendment right to counsel.
