Ross Miltner, Esq.
Ross Miltner is an accomplished higher education administrator and an experienced attorney with a specialized practice in disability law. Licensed in the State of Ohio, Ross has practiced federal disability law across six states at both hearing and appellate levels. Ross has represented over 1,000 clients in administrative law disability hearings since he was sworn in to practice in December of 2012. He engaged in full-time private practice specializing in social security disability for approximately six years at a prominent Midwest disability-focused law firm before transitioning to solo of-counsel practice in 2018.
Currently, Ross serves as the Director of Student Accessibility Services for the University of Mount Union in Alliance, Ohio. Since taking over the accessibility office in 2018, Ross has advocated to increase disability accommodations available to Mount Union students and has increased the use of technology in departmental procedures. The number of students served and the types of accommodations available have risen under Ross' leadership of the accessibility office. Ross also teaches as an adjunct professor for the Integrative Core program at the University of Mount Union.
Ross earned his J.D. from Ohio Northern University ('12) after having earned his M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration ('08) and B.A. ('07) from Kent State University. He lives in Akron, Ohio with his wife, Ashlie, and two sons.
