Gerald G. Goldberg, Esq.
Gerald “Jerry” Goldberg is the founding partner of Goldberg Law Group. Mr. Goldberg has over 40 years of experience representing health care providers in investigations and contested administrative hearings before the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation and the Illinois Department of Healthcare and Family Services.
He routinely represents physicians and licensed health care providers in professional licensing matters, medical staff discipline, and medical staff credentialing and peer review. Mr. Goldberg is a skilled and meticulous attorney with a record of successfully advocating for and defending the rights of health care providers in Illinois and Arizona.
Michael K. Goldberg, Esq.
Michael “Mike” Goldberg received his Juris Doctorate in 1992 from the University of Illinois College of Law. He received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from the University of Illinois-Urbana, where he also played hockey for the Fighting Illini. In 1992, Mr. Goldberg joined the Cook County State's Attorney’s Office where he prosecuted criminal matters for five years. As an Assistant State's Attorney, Mike tried twelve jury trials and numerous bench trials.
Mr. Goldberg has been with Goldberg Law Group since 1997. In private practice, he has argued in the Illinois Supreme Court and in all five appellate courts in Illinois. In addition to being licensed to practice law in Illinois, Mr. Goldberg is admitted to practice in Arizona and is admitted to the Trial Bar in the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois.
Jenna Milaeger, Esq.
Jenna Milaeger concentrates her practice on representing and defending doctors, chiropractors and other licensed providers in Illinois and Arizona in a wide range of health care, administrative and business law matters including: Medicare, Medicaid audits and fraud investigations; private payer audits and appeals; medical staff discipline, credentialing and peer review matters; medical resident contract disputes and discipline; and in professional licensing matters.
Ms. Milaeger regularly advises small business owners and entrepreneurs in the formation, sales and purchases of medical practices, in employment matters and disputes, and in business disputes. She also represents health care providers in general and civil litigation matters.
