Accreditation and CLE Rules for New Mexico
Courses purchased through UnitedCLE.com are provided and fully accredited by The National Academy of Continuing Legal Education, an Accredited CLE Provider in New Mexico.
New Mexico attorneys must complete 12 CLE credit hours every year by Dec 31st including at least 2 credits in Ethics and 1 credit in Equity in Justice (EIJ). *New Mexico attorneys have an automatic extension until Feb 1 to complete prior year's CLE.
New Mexico attorneys can earn all 12 CLE credit hours with us including 2 credit hours of Ethics and 1 credit in Equity in Justice (EIJ) using our Online & iOS/Android App courses.
Attorneys may carry over 12 credits, including 2 Ethics and 1 credit in Equity in Justice (EIJ) into the next reporting period.
*The State Bar of New Mexico has amended Rule 18 to require at least 1 hour of Equity in Justice (EIJ). Additionally, all 12 credit hours may be live or self study courses.

About This Course
Designed to provide a general overview of mediation theory by introducing basic terminology employed during the mediation process, this CLE course will effectively summarize the basic tenets of mediation theory. The course will also explain the work of the Ecclesiastical Court known as a Beit Din, which employs both mediation and arbitration techniques to resolve disputes.
