Accreditation and CLE Rules for Ohio

On 8/30/2022 The Supreme Court of OH sent a notice that it has permanently removed the self-study CLE cap for all attorneys moving forward in 2023 and beyond OH Supreme Court Notice. Therefore all OH attorneys can now satisfy their entire requirement with our Online & iOS/Android App courses.
Ohio attorneys are required to complete 24 credits including 2.5 credits of Professional Conduct every 2 years.
Ohio attorneys can earn all 24 CLE credit hours with us including 2.5 credits of Professional Conduct using our Online & iOS/Android App courses.
An attorney’s reporting period depends on the first letter of the attorney’s last name. Ohio attorneys with last names beginning with A-L are due on December 31st of each odd numbered year and attorneys with last names beginning M-Z are required to complete their requirement on each even numbered year.

About This Course
Nobody enjoys being told what to do, and brokers chafe at being limited to practicing in particular states because their license limits their ability to work across the country.
This CLE course will explain license portability, how it differs from license reciprocity and the various states’ limitations on what that allows out-of-state brokers to do.
The course will explain how to find and interpret license law limitations as well as counsel broker clients on what actions can be taken that won’t jeopardize their right to fees, or to their home state license.
