About This Course
With increasing reports of excessive violence and incidences of death, police misconduct and police reform are hot button issues right now. This CLE course will present the federal civil right litigation that involve the police and the constitutional standards which govern the police and police conduct.
The course will explain how the civil justice system is attempting to achieve greater accountability and the tools that attorney can use to evaluate the viability of civil rights claims. The course will also offer a comprehensive update on Fourteenth Amendment fair trial jurisprudence and its potential consequences.
