Paul R. Golden, Esq.
Paul R. Golden, Esq. is a partner at Coffey Modica, LLP, in New York, New York. Since entering law school, Mr. Golden's goal was to become New York's premier appellate attorney. He has been quoted by Newsweek, the New York Law Journal, Forbes magazine, Money magazine, the ABA Journal, and the Commercial Observer. Mr. Golden received his law degree from the University of Illinois Law School, and received his undergraduate degree from New York University. At the University of Illinois, he received awards and honors, including graduating magna cum laude, and being first in his class in tort law.
Mr. Golden concentrates on appellate law, but also handles real estate litigation and commercial litigation matters. Mr. Golden’s numerous successful appellate cases include one concerning a FOIL request which was the subject of a front page article in the New York Law Journal, and a Court of Appeals case on insurance law, which has been cited over 1500 times by courts, secondary sources, expert opinion reports, and other appellate briefs. Mr. Golden has had numerous legal articles published, including one cited by a federal court. He has also conducted several CLE lectures through NACLE.
Mr. Golden has written a book for practitioners, published by the ABA in 2022, entitled "Litigating Constructive Trusts." This is the first known book on the topic, and is available in over 70 law libraries across the country, including Harvard, Northwestern University, and University of Chicago. His second book, "Litigating Adverse Possession Cases," was published in 2024. This is also the first known book about that topic.
