About This Course
The second in a series on high frequency police liability, this CLE course focuses on the files created by law enforcement, where they are stored and which ones to ask for. Defense protection of files as well as a checklist of discovery the defendant should obtain from the plaintiff will be discussed as well as a list of the fifteen most important evidentiary issues and how to present or limit the weight of the opinions of experts on police practices. The course will also explain the top ten motions for filing with a particular focus on the defense motion for summary judgement. The course follows the one that is focused on case selection, representation and initial pleadings. The third course deals primarily with pre-trial, trial and post-trial.
