Andrew D. Cherkasky, Esq.
Andrew Cherkasky is a former federal prosecutor and current criminal defense attorney. He began his legal career as a JAG in the U.S. Air Force where he was recognized as the Air Force’s #1 special victims’ prosecutor. In this job, he was dispatched throughout the world to assist in the prosecution of the Air Force’s most serious felony crimes.
Since leaving his federal job, Andrew founded a civil rights and criminal defense law firm, Golden Law, Inc. Since the firm’s inception, Andrew and his associates have represented thousands of accused criminals and have defended hundreds of federal criminal cases to verdict. Golden Law recently expanded its practice in opening a new branch of it’s practice known as “Best Sex Defense,” which offers litigation services and expert consultation to other legal professionals handling complex sexual crimes in criminal, civil, family, and other courts, and assists with PR strategy in high profile sex crimes. The firm hosts a federal tort practice, which focuses on catastrophic injury and medical malpractice claims against the federal government.
In addition to his legal practice, Andrew is also a national media commentator, regularly providing legal commentary on networks such as CNN, Fox News, Court TV, and more. He is also an editorial contributor to USA Today.
Catherine (Katie) Cherkasky, Esq.
Catherine (Katie) Cherkasky is a former federal prosecutor and current criminal defense attorney. She began her legal career as a JAG in the U.S. Air Force where she prosecuted some of the Air Force’s most serious felony crimes. In addition to serving as a prosecutor, Katie also served as one of the federal government’s first special victims’ attorneys, representing victims of sexual offenses throughout the criminal litigation process.
After her Air Force service, Katie joined her husband, Andrew, as a partner at the firm he founded, Golden Law, Inc. Katie focuses her practice on felony federal trial and appellate litigation. She also represents victims of catastrophic medical malpractice in lawsuits against the federal government.
In addition to her legal practice, Katie is also a national media commentator, regularly providing legal commentary on networks such as CNN, Fox News, Court TV, and more. She is also an editorial contributor to USA Today.
