Accreditation and CLE Rules for Virginia
Courses purchased through the United Institute for Continuing Legal Education are provided and fully accredited by The National Academy of Continuing Legal Education, an approved Virginia State Bar MCLE Accredited Sponsor.
Virginia attorneys are required to take 12 credit hours every year including 2 credit hour of Ethics.
Virginia attorneys can complete all 12 CLE credits with the National Academy of Continuing Legal Education using our Online & iOS/Android App distance learning courses and our Live Interactive Webinar Courses.
Virginia attorneys must complete their continuing legal education requirements by October 31st every year. The reporting deadline is December 15th.
Attorneys may carryover 12 credit hours into the next compliance period including 2 Ethics credits and 8 distance learning credits.

About This Course
COVID-19 motivated many lawyers to relocate, work remotely, and avoid perceived risk. This CLE course will assess the legal and ethical ramifications of relocation, particularly to states beyond where you might be licensed.
The course will address authorization to practice, jurisdiction and choice of rules.
