Victor Fusco, Esq.
Victor Fusco is one of the founding members of Fusco, Brandenstein & Rada, P.C. Mr. Fusco received his undergraduate degree from Hofstra University in 1972, and his law degree from Brooklyn Law School in 1975.
Mr. Fusco is a frequent lecturer and writer in the areas of Social Security, Workers' Compensation and media relations at such places as the Cornell School of Industrial and Labor Relations, the New York State Bar Association and the Practicing Law Institute, the New York Injured Workers' Bar Association, and the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives. His columns appear in numerous union newsletters and local papers.
He is the founding president of the New York Social Security Bar Association, and a founding member of the Social Security Section of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America and board member and a past-president of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants' Representatives.
Since March of 1999, he has been the host of "Labor Lines" a program about working men and women and the organizations that represent them heard twice weekly on WGBB 1240 AM radio (Thursday at 7:00 PM and Saturday at 6:30 PM) and simultaneously webcast on www.am1240wgbb.com and also on WLIE 540 AM (Wednesdays at 8:00 PM) webcast on www.wlie.com
He is a member of the Advisory Boards of the Long Island Occupational and Environmental Health Center; The Lupus Alliance Long Island/Queens Affiliate and The Labor-Management Center of which he is also a faculty member. He is the past-president of the Greater New York Safety Council and New York Social Security Bar Association.
Committed to public service, Vic serves as the Chair of the Annual March of Dimes Salute to Labor Dinner.
He serves as an arbitrator in the Eastern District of the United States District Court, Chair of the Zoning Board of Appeals in the Village of Lake Grove, a member of the Suffolk County Bar Associations Judicial Screening Committee, and has recently been named to the Suffolk County Charter Revision Committee.
He has received awards from the LI Federation of Labor, the Lupus Foundation, the Foundation Fighting Blindness, the Children of Hope Foundation, The New York State Assembly, the Suffolk County Corrections Officers' Association, CSEA Local 880, The Town of Oyster Bay, The Town of Hempstead, The Nassau County Police Department, and other civic, labor and charitable organizations.
Erin K. McCabe, Esq.
Erin McCabe is a graduate of Stony Brook University, the State University of New York and earned her law degree at New York Law School. She began her career path with the firm upon graduating from college. She worked in our New York City office throughout law school and specialized in Workers’ Compensation. Since that time she has broadened her areas of expertise to include Social Security Disability and Municipal Pensions. She continues to practice in the areas of Real Estate and Wills as well.
She has tried hundreds of cases, handled thousands of hearings and scores of depositions over the years. Erin recognizes and values the importance of communication between the attorney and client. Additionally she plays a vital role in firm management as well as assisting the Managing Partner with overall firm operations.
She currently serves as Vice President of the New York Injured Workers Bar Association. She is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section. She is also a member of the National Organization of Social Security Claimants’ Representatives, The Nassau County Bar Association and the New York Social Security Bar Association. Erin lectures regularly in her areas of expertise at professional seminars for colleagues as well as educational seminars for unions and community groups.
