About This Course
The practice of law involves interactions with a wide assortment of people from clients and opposing counsel to judges and courtroom staff. This CLE course will present the impact of civility on these interactions and how the rules of professional conduct may define appropriate behavior. The course will explain the skills necessary for proper conduct and requirements of attorneys in accordance with the guidelines, including the updating of clients, dealing with opposing counsel in the facilitation of dispute resolution that is both in the best interests of your client, your working relationships and successful judicial interactions. The course will explain the ramifications of civility, and lack thereof, with regards to your reputation and your success in representing your clients.
